About US
OUR PURPOSE
Guided by Integrity. Grounded in Reverence.
Reverence Health was born from a shared conviction among close friends and colleagues that home care and hospice should return to their original purpose: caring for people as neighbors, not numbers. Rooted in generosity, guided by integrity, and grounded in reverence for the dignity of every life, we believe care should never be driven by profit alone, but by a genuine commitment to doing what is right for those in need. Our calling is to serve individuals and families with compassion, humility, and respect—enhancing quality of life, honoring each person’s story, and restoring the sense of community and humanity that meaningful care was always meant to reflect.
Reverence Health Founders
Durham Harris, D.Min, HEC-C
Durham completed his Master of Theological Studies at Emory University and his Doctor of Ministry at Vanderbilt University. He is a certified clinical ethicist and a hospital chaplain having largely worked at the intersection of critical care, end-of-life, and ethics. Durham is a loving husband to Tiffany and proud “dog dad” to Finnegan (aka lil Bubby).
Matt Beyland, MDiv
Matt completed his Master of Divinity at United Seminary. He currently works full-time as a staff chaplain with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Matt is a devoted husband to Kirstin, and proud father of three girls, including one who is medically complex and requires home care services. This has radically shaped and informed Matt’s sense of vocation and calling as a chaplain.
